3. Content Reviews

Reviews and ratings play a vital role in helping viewers discover quality content and make informed viewing decisions. To ensure fairness and transparency, all reviews must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Honest & Accurate – Reviews should reflect genuine viewing experiences and opinions about content quality, entertainment value, and overall satisfaction. False, misleading, or unsubstantiated information is not allowed.
  • Full Disclosure – If you have any connection to the content creator that could influence your review—such as employment, sponsorship, free access, affiliate relationships, or personal connections—you must clearly disclose it.
  • Incentivized Reviews – Content creators offering incentives for reviews (such as exclusive content access or giveaway entries) must inform users of these guidelines, monitor review content, and report non-compliant reviews to support@artizantv.com. You may not provide incentives for fake or misleading reviews.

We will not approve reviews that contain:

  • Spam or repetitive content – This includes excessive use of symbols, distracting text, copy-paste reviews, or irrelevant images.
  • Private information – Do not share your own or others' personal details, such as phone numbers, email addresses, real names of private individuals, or personal addresses.
  • External links – To prevent phishing and malware risks, links to external websites are not allowed, including those with referrer tags or affiliate codes.
  • Prohibited content – Reviews must not contain anything that violates our prohibited content policies, including hate speech, harassment, or inappropriate language.
  • Spoilers without warnings – Major plot spoilers must be clearly marked with spoiler warnings to respect other viewers' experiences.

If you come across a review that violates these guidelines, you can report it by clicking the report button next to the review.

4. Subscription Disputes

Artizan TV is committed to consumer protection while fostering a platform where high-quality content creators can thrive.

Dispute rate expectations

To maintain a trustworthy streaming platform, content creators must keep their subscription dispute rates within acceptable limits. All creators are encouraged to keep their dispute rate at less than 2%. If a creator exceeds these thresholds:

  • The account will be placed on up to 100% reserve, preventing withdrawals.
  • Artizan TV will conduct a review of the account, which may lead to further actions, including suspension of new subscriptions.

Artizan TV uses a weighted score called Content Creator Risk Score to determine if reserves or suspension is needed for a creator account. We calculate two Content Creator Risk Scores to assess your account:

  1. Rate-Based
  2. Revenue (Monthly recurring revenue) Based

These scores are calculated based on your dispute rate, your auto-refund rate, and the rate at which subscribers submit cases in our Resolution Center. Your Score will range from 0-5+

  • Less than 2 is acceptable, and no reserves or restrictions will be placed on your account.
  • A score of 2-3 will result in 25% of your balance being held on reserve.
  • A score of 3-4 will result in 50% of your balance being held on reserve.
  • A score of 4-5 will result in 75% of your balance being held on reserve.
  • A score of 5+ will result in your account being suspended.

You can see your Content Creator Risk Score in your Creator Dashboard and we will email you if your score exceeds 2. The best way to keep your Content Creator Risk Score below 2 is to keep your Dispute Rate below 2%, as this is the heaviest weighted factor in the score.

Subscriber dispute policy

To resolve subscription and billing issues, subscribers must use the on-platform Resolution Center before filing a bank dispute.

  • If a dispute is filed without first attempting resolution through Artizan TV, a warning email will be issued.
  • A second violation will result in account suspension.
  • If the dispute is later resolved in the subscriber's favor, Artizan TV will reverse any enforcement action.

This policy is designed not as a penalty but as a safeguard to protect content creators from unnecessary financial risk. Bank disputes can severely impact creators' revenue, and our goal is to maintain a fair and sustainable streaming platform for all users.

5. Artizan TV Credits

Your creator account balance may go negative due to subscription disputes or refunds processed through the Resolution Center. We strongly recommend waiting a few weeks before withdrawing 100% of your earnings to ensure you have a buffer for potential disputes or refunds.

Negative Balance Policy

  • If your balance falls below -$50 and -$500 for more than 7 days, your account will be suspended.
  • If your balance falls below -$500 for more than 72 hours, your account will be suspended.
  • You can restore access by topping up your balance through the creator dashboard.
  • If your balance remains negative after the respective timeframes, Artizan TV will attempt to recover the funds from your bank.
  • If fund recovery fails, your account will be permanently banned from the platform.

Maintaining a positive balance ensures smooth payouts and uninterrupted access to your creator account.

6. Tipping Content Creators

Artizan TV facilitates transactions for supporting content creators through tips, channel subscriptions, and premium content access.

  • Any payment you make or receive shall be solely exchanged for bona fide content creation services, entertainment content, or tips for creative work.
  • You may not use Artizan TV to transfer money to another user for personal, family, or household purposes (e.g., gifts, loans, personal reimbursements), nor for any transaction that could be deemed peer-to-peer money transmission.
  • You must accurately specify the purpose of each payment by selecting an option from the provided drop-down list (e.g., "Channel Subscription," "Content Tip," "Premium Access").
  • Artizan TV is not a bank – we do not hold or transmit funds. All transactions are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe) in accordance with their terms.
  • You may not use Artizan TV for illegal activities, personal fund transfers, money laundering, or any purpose that would require Artizan TV to function as a financial institution.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the legitimacy of all transactions and compliance with tax obligations for income received.
  • Any payment disputes are strictly between you and the other user. While Artizan TV may assist payment processors in fraud investigations, we do not mediate personal financial disputes.

Additional Creator Payment Guidelines:

  • Content delivery requirements: Creators who receive tips or subscriptions must continue to provide the content or services as advertised.
  • Refund policy: Creators should have clear refund policies for their content and honor reasonable refund requests.
  • Tax compliance: Creators are responsible for reporting income and complying with tax obligations in their jurisdiction.

By following these guidelines, you help maintain a safe, creative, and financially sustainable environment for all users on the Artizan TV streaming platform.
